Need help with resolution setting on new PC

Hi,

Just got myself a new PC (Advent) with widescreen monitor (N19W) with
Vista installed. Problem is I can't get the right aspect ratio to
display on the monitor. The monitor is capable of 1440x900, but there
is no setting for this in the display settings. I've tried all
available resolutions and the geometry is out (stretch images either
way). I've tried Powerstrip, but so far although I can get the
correct geometry, part of the screen goes missing. Any help will be
appreciated. BTW, graphics card is NVIDIA GeForce 7100 GS.
