PC suite cannot find Sony Ericsson W8801 anymore

My W880i doesn't connect to my work-PC anymore with data cable (not in Phone, nor in data exchange modus). It used to work fine...

I've already tried several things, also things that I found in the forum here:

- Norton isn't running
- SyncMLDesktopServer.exe isn't running on my PC either
- Phone does connect to my home PC and Mac correctly
- We tried to turn off the firewall, but it still didn't connect
- I updated the phone software (after already trying the master reset)
- I reinstalled PC suite
- I uninstalled the Blue Soleil bluetooth software
- I disconnected the USB card reader that I'm using.

When I check the Com ports, it does see the phone, however PC suite cannot find it. The prolem is most likely in my PC, maybe some drivers conflicting, but which ones?
