When you add web site addresses to the Favorites list, most of them have
an "e" icon beside them but a few have a site-specific icon.

I've noticed that at some random time afterwards, and for no apparent
reason, those site-specific icons revert to the generic "e" icon.

Firstly, does anyone know what is causing this to happen?


Yes. It happens when the page has been flushed from your cache. This
happens when the site hasn't been visited for while.
