You mean, he asked the wrong question for your answer.
He meant that I answered the question that the OP should have asked in the
first place, namely "how do I sort this mess out".
If you had ever tried to uninstall the Norton anti-virus, you would know
why your answer was unhelpful.
I have. It's not the easiest thing to uninstall, but nothing that an RTFM
couldn't resolve.
