Tried to access www.spamihilator.com on a client's machine - pinging it
gave the address as 127.0.0.1. I take this to mean that some "agent"
has determined this is a dodgy site and has redirected it to localhost,
but I can't find out where this has been done. I've checked for an
lmhosts file, and the site doesn't appear in the list of restricted
sites in IE. Any ideas where else to look?
Thanks everyone - especially Marcus & Mr Guest who seem to have pinned it
down to a problem with the site's host DNS configuration. I'll see if I can
let them know.
Spamihilator, by the way, is a very effective Bayesian spam filter which
learns rapidly and is quite easy to use (important for the client I just
installed it with!). Installs in one go, and works well with Outlook
Express.
