A wireless device needs drivers of some sort - whether it's a USB dongle,
a PCMCIA card or a PCI card. I don't see how you can plug any of those
into a NAS and install drivers (unless you're a Linux hacker). I may be
wrong, perhaps you can connect a WAP to a NAS with cat5 and it just works
- perhaps somebody can comment?

Do you even know what WAP stands for? WIRELESS ACCESS POINT. A
standalone unit like a router. It doesn't need any drivers.
