How long does the charge in a CMOS battery normally last - a couple ofyears, as for a digital watch?
I guess it depends on the amount of time the PC is powered down?
The shelf life of a Lithium cell is 10 years. I have seen mobo batteries
that are six years old and still show full voltage on a multimeter.
