Will it write CD and DVD-RW directly (packet)? It isn't mentioned in
the publicity blurb.
Yes to both (but use DVD+RW for packet if possible, it's far more reliable).
Media Creator's only limitation is that it writes multi session CDs in Mode
1 (Mode 2 was removed as long ago as Version 7). Multisession Mode 1 is in
fact an invalid format, and many CD readers will not recognise anything
other than the first session. The problem was an ambiguity in the Orange
Book specification (for multisession disks).
Anyone suggest why it costs £120 from Roxio and only £35.24 from
Cisco?
