Can anyone help? I have just purchased a Pikaone external hard-drive but
in order to use it drivers have to be installed on the computer it is
running on - can anyone tell me if you can get a pnp external hard-drive
and if so can you recommend one?
I just want to plug into my computers by either firewire or usb and for
the computer to recognise it as an additional hard-drive in the same was
as you would plug in a memory stick.

I've got two external hard drives plugged in one a seagate and the other a
maxtor, both with usb and running on winxp. Never needed to even look at a
driver cd - literally plug and play.
MP3 player and digital camera wont work on XP ... Device Manager shows unknown USB device with no drivers... Now when I plug that into a USB ... MUVO player but won't install the drivers. ... (microsoft.public.windowsxp.hardware)

I've got SOME Enhanced USB drivers in my set but the point is ... that's WinXP SP2.... current USB 1.1 and 2.0 driver files that I have for the USB ... (microsoft.public.windowsxp.help_and_support)
