Quite right to. I'd just never tried to access the Internet from my iPaq
while in Work mode.


Still can't figure out what the difference is!

From checking a few things online, it looks like "work mode" is designed to
use the network where you're normally based and "internet mode" is designed
to be used when you're away. AFAICT it's a way of switching to different
connections without having to reconfigure lots of things. It might also be
that internet mode has more memory available because it doesn't need to load
a SMB/MS networking client as well as TCP/IP.
