Opera is much like fartfox in one respect as it chucks its rattle out
the pram unless you write things in a way to suit it .

I'm no web author, but everything I've read says that both Opera and
Firefox are very standards compliant. It's not so much chucking its
rattle out as objecting to non-standard HTML.

How stupid is fartfox and opera if they think the majority of home users
will check their websites in various browsers to check it works ok and
for the most part looks the same in all the major browsers .

IMHO a benchmark sign of a good browser is one that accepts (the fact)
that not every website is going to be written to html standards and
without any doubt whatsoever IE is the most forgiving of the major
browsers and at least trys to render the webpage as best as possible .
