I have to correct that, having just taken a look at my combo drive. That has DVD-ROM on it, and it can write CD's.
It can read DVD's and CD's, and write to CD's.
But, big but, I doubt your library will have a CD-writing program installed. Ours doesn't. For obvious reasons.
