Thanks guys, I got a copy of an older version - 2.20.405 - but it too only reports FPM or EDO. I also tried SiSoft Sandra and that too only reports FPM/EDO.
Installing Everest on my laptop the speed is reported under SPD which, of course, SIMMs don't support.
Guess it's now down to Googling the numbers on the chips or just putting them on eBay as FPM or EDO.
