You could have it set to only allow people with specified MAC addresses to use the WAP. That way he *can't* use your connection.

Oh yes he can.... MAC addresses are readily spoofable, and basing security on them them offers protection only against accidents (and ignorant attackers), not proper attacks. It follows also that checking MAC addresses (alone) proves nothing, unless you see your MAC being used when you know that machine's off-net.
