Re: Swapping HD ?

The operation you want is to "clone" or "image" the disk. Some disk
manufacturers have suitable tools available on their websites, apparently,
or you can use tools like Norton Ghost or Acronis True Image to do this.
More recent versions of both these tools are much more user-friendly than
earlier versions. Acronis has a 15-day trial available which should be
enough to get you sorted - I use this tool (bought copy!) often and it's
very easy to use. I must caution that I have had occasional glitches with
True Image (previous version) and you should treat such software with the
respect it deserves. Nevertheless it's immensely useful, and a good method
of backup.
