As it was my wife who decided to buy a lap top for the (Beaver) Scouts, I left her to it. One of the other leaders teaches IT, so I thought that she would be well informed. Alas, no. I now wish that I had put my 2 pennyworth in at the ordering time.

HP make the best ones. Some come with a FAX built in as well.

Agreed, that's what mine is. Superb scanning and lots of buttons on the front :-)
