I've got a 4-channel digital video recording card inside but it didn't come
with any software. I'll plug the camcorder into it to see what happens.....

Oh, that works well! No sound though coz there's only video inputs.
Hmmm...how do I get the sound in too? Adaptor for the phone plugs into the
sound card?
