Microsoft's Anti Spyware Beta, SpyBot S&D, AdAware.

If you do get infected run "Hijack This" - Google for it. And get a detailed
view of all the browser helper objects installed, registry startup entries
etc and either post the log file for analysis or sort it yourself.

Effective anti virus software is obviously a must. I use McAfee.

Zone Alarm Firewall.
