Got asked to sort out a foaf's PC where their ISP had blocked their
'net access due to virus activity - turned out he'd had this *and*
paid the ransom, only to get even more rubbish.
Thing is, this person is not stupid just a little naive around PCs
and he had thought it was genuine...
ridiculous.
I suspect a lot of people don't see beyond the Met Badge and the quasi-tech language. The grammar was dire but hey it correctly logged my location...to within a couple of hundred miles or so anyway.
