Dell recovery disc, recovery partition and Win7

Hi all,
I've got a Dell Insipiron 9400 laptop that I want to clean install
Win7 and remove the dell recovery partition.
The laptop is out of warranty. Originally supplied with WinXP and then
upgraded to Vista Business through Dell upgrade program. I have both
XP and Vista recovery discs and COA for both OSs. I have now bought
Win 7 Home Premium full edition. I would like to format the HDD and
remove all partitions, then clean install Win7.
When I eventually get rid of the laptop, I would like to restore it
back to XP or Vista, will this still be possible using the recovery
discs but without the recovery partition ?
If not can I use a standard win XP or Vista CD and use the Dell COA
licence keys?
If I uninstall Win7, can I go ahead and install on a different PC
legally?
Thanks
P
