Currently I am in ROI where 3 have a network and consequently I can

for free on this, according to their instructions. I called them
beforehand and set up international roaming on the account.
I get a good 3 network signal where I am located, in fact it is better
than most locations in the UK as the mast is near the house where I am
staying. I can connect the modem to the network fine, but when I try
to
load webpages or run any other internet connected programs I get "the
page cannot be displayed". I can ping 127.0.0.1 and the default
gateway.
I cannot ping any IP address on the internet. Any ideas what the
problem
is here?
Many Thanks
Try running IPCONFIG /ALL in a command window. What is the default
gateway? Are there DNS servers there, and can you ping them? You

Tried this, but every time it tries to connect it goes back to "Obtain DNS
