Looking for a new monitor but don't want these glossy mirror like screens.
Am after a matte finish one (no glare) and one with decent speakers if
possible (I know it's asking a lot) and to ask even more one with a built
in web cam (sorry I'm being silly now)

Just don't buy it from www.aria.co.uk ! They will sell you a monitor that
they claim might have faults
in the way of "dead pixels" unless you pay them more to check it. I can't
help feeling that rejected ones
are being sold to customers not paying extr to be guaranteed of a fully
working one.
We all know dead pixel checks are a con. Every monitor should be guaranteed
to be defect free which
means no dead pixels - which are a fault in the manufactring process.
If a retailers is offering this check, ask whether they are buying "reject"
panels for a few pounds each -
knowingly buying them as rejects and trying to pass them off as perfectly
OK. A con merchant will
often refuse to exchange a defective monitor, a monitor with dead pixels, by
claiming a British Standard
number allows this! It doesn't, it merely states a minimum standard a
monitor should be made to. This
has nothing to do with dead pixels which are a manufacturing defect - unless
clearly stated and the price
reduced.
This is a reason I would not buy from Aria in Manchester. They can't
guarantee a perfect monitor
unless I pay extra for it! What a scam.
