Creative networking throws up a nasty little oddity.

I have a 3 computer LAN in a shared Win XP workgroup. I read that it
is possible to take the cloned image of computer one, re-image
computer 2 with this image, then do a repair install on computer 2
using the XP CD. This is followed by the re-installation of any
missing drivers.

The main reason I want to do this is so that I can develop the
structure of one machine, then clone it across, to avoid having to go
through the same development process on each machine.

Initially all seems to have gone well at the first attempt, except for
one very obvious problem.

Now, when I go to My Network Neighbourhood >Entire Network >Microsoft
Windows Network > "workgroup" >
I get a list of the three computers 1, 2 and 3,

The trouble is, that when I click on the computer 2 icon it shows a
ghost of exactly the same drive structure as computer1, though not
functional and no longer true. There is no access to the true
structure, even when using the command line "\\Computer2"

This effect occurs when accessing network shares from any of the 3
computers.

I'm hoping that there is some kind of refresh process that will update
the LAN to reflect the new structure. If not I might be in the poop.

Any suggestions?
