Which BIOS? The PC's system BIOS, or the PCI controller's BIOS?

If the drives are not seen by the PCI controller's BIOS, something is
wrong. Check cables, etc.

The drives on the add-in card are _not_ meant to be seen by the
system BIOS. This will only detect drives plugged into the
motherboard sockets.

In the system BIOS setup utility, you need to configure it to boot
from an add-in controller. The way this is done varies; look for
options like "boot from SCSI" or "Try booting from other devices".

Thats the problem, I cant find nothing in the BIOS that will let me
set it to boot to the add-in card, or to enable the use of the card.
This is what I really need information about. No mention of SCSI
anywhere in the BIOS or booting from other devices. Here is a link to
the motherboard manual, you should be able to get an idea of all the
screens that I can see:
