Hi

I've had a Western Digital Elements 500gb extrenal hard drive
delivered today, plugged it in like it said on the instructions, the
new hardware window flashed a couple of times and that was it. In the
right hand corner of the desktop, by the clock, it shows the safely
remove hardware icon for the USB mass storage drive, the properties
show the device working properly but I'm unable to see the drive in My
Computer. It didn't come with any cd, the feedback on Ebuyer where I
bought it said it was just a case of plugging and playing

Anyone suggest what to do?

TIA
Steve

control panel
admin tools
computer management
disk management on left panel

initialise the drive
