What kind of "industrial filtermaterial" did you use?The sort that I've got is meant for quite high flows so it's not too

How much does it reduce the airflow ?
closely woven; it has 3 layers and can take a lot of clag before getting
blocked. We used a lot of it at work and I had about a square yard. Haven't
any idea of what it is or where it came from.
I wonder if a piece of nylon from a nylon-stocking
would work as filter material.
That's the idea of blowing inwards; 'suction' will take in air everywhere.
Blowing in filtered air alleviates the problem.
Yes, I did get that point.
I think I will look at the fans more closely and
make sure that the front-fan moves more air than
the PSU-fan under normal use. I think I can live
with some suction in the probably very short
periods of time when the PSU will turn up the fan
speed.
I wonder if it will be sufficient with only
air intake from the front where the filter is
visible and very accessible for the vacumcleaner.
