What do the experts here think about the optimum pagefile size and
location for my new XP Pro PC please. It has 4 GB RAM and two

drive).
You will get lots of different views :-)
I have the OS on one drive then a main data drive and backup drive. I set a fixed size pagefile (4096) on the backup drive just after it was formatted - it is at the "front" of the drive and doesn't fragment as it is fixed size. The drive it is on is only accessed in overnight backups and if I get something wrong and have to retrieve a backup.

This is as bad as it can get, but don't bet on it
