Its best to let windows manage it that usually mean a max of 1.5x the amount
of ram. The constant writing and deleting of page files is what fragments
the drive. So being on its own partition of say 8 GB gives it plenty of room
and avoids fragmenting the OS. Ideally it should be on a separate physical
drive to the OS. But its own partition will help
