Boots to the XP home screen with the blue scrowling blobs and
then....tinyest flash of blue screen and it reboots.

Can't seem to access the boot menu, and a Repair off the CD hasnt
helped at all.

Hammer F8 just after the POST screen disappears? If you have a USB
keyboard this may not work.

If you can get the F8 options up; try "Last Known Configuration Which
Worked" - It *might* solve the problem - It's worth a try.
