I would really like a wireless method...
I use a Dell Latitude C600 laptop (P3-700 vintage) with a wireless card.
It's quiet, it has S-video out (originally it came with an S-Video-composite
converter if your TV is from ALDI - but I lost any of those I had),
I have a Sony Trinitron CRT and it has no S-Video. So I think your
assumption is, in fact, an exaggeration!
With the vast amount of information you gave in your first post, what
choice did he have but to assume?
I see that XMBC that we've been talking about on Xboxes has been
released for OSX, and there's an alpha version for Linux - that gives
you a whole set of new possibilities.
