for some reason WindiesXP has started asking me for a password everytime I
boot up now? funny thing is I havn't implemented a password on it,it won't
let me through any ideas how this has happened and how to get back to

Assuming you can get logged in somehow, as an admin, try 'start, run,
'control userpasswords2' (in the run box, no quotes) and un-tick the
'users must enter a password to use this computer' box (at which point
it will ask you who to autologon as, and what password to use).
