Time Model L157
Anyone repair them?
Fault condition : Dead,Standby light lit and Screen not lit.
Any tips on what to look at on the circuit board and Backlight circuit
board?
Tried the obvious...2 Fuses,no signs of burnt out components, dry joints.
TIA
Very commonly its just oxidation on the connecters between the inverter
board and the backlights. Use some proper cleaner or just unplug/plug them
100 times or so. You can tell if its an inverter/backlight fault usually as
you can still see the images on the screen in the right light if you look
carefully.
