Long shot perhaps. But anyone know of an equivalent product for a mac?
Net nanny isn't mac compatible..
Leopard (os X 10.5) has a blacklist setting in the Parental Controls.
Tiger (10.4) only has a whitelist for Safari.
They have no Apples, and dont want Linux in the building. For some
reason, they are anti-linux. Tried to put it in once before for
something, but they wont have it. I dont know a whole lot about Linux
in any form so doubt I woudl be able to get along... but if I am
willing to put one of my own computers in there, then they may allow
me to use it, but only under that option!
Sorry, I was replying to bornfree's question only. I don't have any
recommendations for Windows machines beyond what's already been given.
Usenet conversations do meander like that. This isn't a webforum with
anal-retentive mods stomping on people with "you're off topic -
banned".
Cheers - Jaimie
