FolksNot had the problem and not sure if this will work but :-
I open a picture using MS fax and picture viewer.
I press the edit button and the viewer program just shuts down (no messages or noises)
I am assuming the windows default editor is not associate properly - but how to update this?
Many thanks
David
Right click picture file
Select - Open With
Choose the program to open the file
This may or may not re-establish the default opening program.
Best of luck.
Mike
Thanks for this. Yes, this will change the default display program but this is not quite what I was after.
I want the picture to open in viewer but when the EDIT button is pressed within viewer, I want another program to open (which is standard windows but which for reasons that defeat me has dropped off)
Just possibly it may be launching minimised as happened to me the only way to return it was with windows task manager as it nested out of sight .
