Hi, my daughter has an old HP Omnibook laptop running windows 98, with
64MB of RAM and a 4.5 GIG hard drive. Now I know the battery has gone
and I need a new one in the future, but apart from that, it runs fine.
What are the chances of upgrading the Laptop, so that it runs XP. I
believe it's got an onboard graphics card, but i'm not sure of the
size. Would I need a larger hard drive, and how much memory would I
need? (SDRAM) Would it need anything else for the upgrade?

You can buy a new HP 530 for £300 from Dabs, and for £370 you can get one with a T2400, 1024mb memory and 120GB hard drive.
Its is no long until Christmas!
