Recommendations for reliable HDD's please.
As header really.
I'm looking for several smaller (80-120gb) drives, reliability & longevity
are more important than the initial cost. New and with full warranty.
Today had a 160gb Hitachi die on me. Last weeks work, about 30gb, lost.
Previous weeks all backed up and safe. This drive is marked as manufactured
in July 2007 and was purchased by me in August. RMA no problem but doesn't
help with lost data.
Have tried various methods to get pc to recognise the drive but no joy. Not
happy !
Any suggestions please and also where to buy good reliable kit at a decent
price?
Thanks.
