Err, in what way? Cat5 uses differential signalling so I don't see why
it'd matter.
It's nothing to do with the signals carried by the cat5 cable. It's all
to do with the fact that a contact to mains voltage fault in one
building could generate a 440v 'booby trap' hazard for some luckless
individual in the other building.
