It's your machine ... I'm sure that if you build it as you've spec'd it it'll be fine, but I really would suggest getting a slightly less cut-down CPU, and not getting quite such a high-end power-hungry monster of a graphics card unless you're sure you're going to use it.
I don't like the case or the monitor you've chosen, but I don't have to use them.
I'd agree with most of what Daniel wrote, except:
- PSU: I'd rather have a larger PSU that's not being pushed hard than a smaller PSU that's having to work harder. But don't buy just based on the numbers; a cheap PSU with a high power rating can often be no better than a decent quality PSU with a lower power rating.
- OS: I'd have XP, not Vista. It'll be seriously fast on that hardware, and I'd bet Vista wouldn't be as fast. The only real reason I can see for wanting Vista is for DirectX 10 support, if that's important to you.
- Hard Drives: I personally would lose the Maxtor. A new 80Gb is peanuts these days and will be significantly faster than the Maxtor. While the Maxtor may say it's an ATA-100 or ATA-133 drive, that's only the speed from the circuit board of the drive to the hard drive controller; the actual transfer speed from discs is significantly slower. A newer drive will provide much faster transfer speeds.
- Keyboard: I've never seen a Trust keyboard I've liked. Tried them a company I worked for then went out and bought some Logitechs.
