Stop the hardware blaming, and run a linux livecd of something. If it shuts down running something meaty in that then you have a hardware issue. If not, then it's likely to be software.
Even simpler, try memtest86.
Could be overheating, could be a hardware fault, could be a virus/malware .. more info definitely required.
