Hi all,
I`ve got a Windows XP machine that I want to use to connect to a Vista
machine, over a network. It`s a 100 meg network, but the XP machine is a
laptop (and thus has a smaller screen than the Vista machine to be
controlled).
Is there a nice free solution to allow me to connect to and control the
Vista machine while sitting at the XP machine, without having to manually
accept any connections on the Vista machine?
Thanks in advance for your help!
Remote Desktop is what I use, but you need XP Pro, or Vista
Business/Enterprise/Ultimate to be the host.
UltraVNC can resample the screen, so you can show a large desktop monitors
full resolution, on a laptop screen, for example.
Easiest way to do this by far is by using TeamViewer. No need to worry
about firewalls, forwarding ports, or even installing it. Each host
computer gets a sort of phone number, and that's all you need to connect to
it, wherever you are in the world.
