Hi all,
I`ve got a Windows XP machine that I want to use to connect to a Vista
machine, over a network. It`s a 100 meg network, but the XP machine is a
laptop (and thus has a smaller screen than the Vista machine to be
controlled).
Is there a nice free solution to allow me to connect to and control the
Vista machine while sitting at the XP machine, without having to manually
accept any connections on the Vista machine?
Thanks in advance for your help!
You can set up VNC to accept a password and not prompt, not sure what
you can do to get Vista's Defender to stop yaking on about VNC being
malware though (you used to be able to tell earlier versions to ignore
it) OMG someone could use VNC to spy on you, arrrrrrrrrg! run, hide!.
What happens on Remote Desktop? Doesn't that just give you the desktop
size you ask for? Or do you require the person on the Vista machine to
be able to see what you're doing also? (in which case, VNC's your man).
