i'm in the process of upgrading the hell out of my old motherboard before
it goes titsup for the last time.
snip
This is what i'm planning:
CPU upgrade (but don't know Mobo limits - can anyone advise?)
another gb of ram, maxing out the two ram slots
256mb graphics card - maybe one with a ram slot to upgrade to 500mb
finally intending to use this system as a server for two thin clients,
using either vmware or ms rdc, serving mainly media content and (basic)
games.
Why would you bother upgrading the graphics on a machine that will be used
as a server?
Why would you bother upgrading this machine at all if it's going to be a
server?
