Laptop batteries from Hong Kong - are they generally crap?

Anyone any experience with buying laptop batteries from HK?
Are they cheap, nasty and potentially explosive or impossible to tell until it arrives!
I am loathed to right them off as crap when you consider they're all made there anyway!
If anyone can vouch for anyh particular supplier I'd be most grateful given the genuine one is dying on its 4th year and another genuine one is £90+
Laptop is Tosh Satellite Pro M10/M15 series. Battery is a PA3259 10.8v 6600mAh
