Anyone know what's 'the' software to use to build my own website.
Want to knock something half decent up in a weekend (This
weekend!)....

I use Word 10 myself normally; but not a lot of people like using
Word for building websites. Some use Front Page, others use
Dreamweaver or Fireworks. I'm just starting a trial of Xara
Webstyle.

Fireworks is the sister program for Dreamweaver, and is for
web-graphics, not web-design.

Good point. Well spotted.

As is WebStyle isn't it? I haven't used that for a few years.

Webstyle's a funny one; it's like a sister and a complimentary program, also
an annexe of all the other Xara apps. They've renewed everything with newer
versions since you used it I suppose, and they're all rather expensive but
sort of make up a total web creation and editing suite together. - I used to
use Webstyle 3; which appears to be a bit like ScreenMaker 4 IIRC but more
advanced. - I think they're just making as many seperate programs as they
can these days and charging a lot for each of them.

-I'm watching Big Brother as I'm typing and I've just realised that I've
written this somewhat in the combined style of Ziggy and Jonty! I think I'd
better watch the telly and write anything else later; as the twins are now
having something that looks like an orgy in the garden with Liam and Jonty.
