Does ordinary sand & cement mortar stick OK to plasterboard?Strange modding project. Has someone built a PC cased in sand,
cement and plasterboard?
To use that in containing the racket arising from the computer, also from
the HDD and the media players, heat exit has to be considered. A
completely sealed concrete box, of 1-2 inch walls, with a tall silencer
atop, the type used in car exhausts, can possibly be envisioned to
provide
a working computer with 0dB emission.

Ha.....I'd say,"Well done, Virgil Scott". But the effort wasn't worth it
really. There would be no advantage of this wooden thing over an
inexpensive, ready made tin box. I suspect the total cost of his creation
could easily have come to more than a cheap case from eBuyer!
I applaud his effort though, and more than that, I take my hat off to him
because he used his loaf, dared to be different, and not to follow the
trodden path of Tom, *** and Henry.
