I am looking for a keyboard and mouse. At the start i thought it would
be best to use a wired mouse and keyboard because my computer is in
use a lot. I am looking for quite a basic bundle. I want an optical
mouse, and so i thought the batterty would drain quite quickly if ity
was wireless. But the problem is have is that the only keybaords that
are wired are at around £40 and microsoft ones. I was looking in the
region of £20. It seems I have been stuck in the past as all the of
the set s are wireless/cordless. So i have tow problems, Would it be
OK to buy a wireless set with a PC under heavy use and what would be
the battery life and also i have got a logitech one i mind:

Its say on the page "PS2 or USB Connection" what does this mean. It
also supports bieng wired up.
Thanks for all your help.
Of all the products Microsoft make, their KB's and mice are best in class.
If you use your computer a lot, I'd suggest you splash out on wired MS
ones.
I fail to see the point of wireless ones for most normal uses.
You will find that many KB's and mice are USB, but are supplied with an
adaptor to enable use of the PS2 port. It's a non-issue.
