OT browser hi-jacking

How annoying is this? Firefox does not find an important online URL
for my work, it comes up with a blank page "done". The site is
perfectly available in IE, and I have also looked at the site
recently in Firefox, so the problem is due to some sabotaging of
Firefox. I have cleaned up the computer, all temp and cache, cookies
and all recently appearing files I could think of, I have run
anti-spyware tools, but the problem is still there. Before anyone
smug whizzkid chips in; yes I have firewall, both Windows and McAfee.
