The fan on my generic power supply was noisy so I've replaced it with
a FSP Blue Storm 2 that was on special offer at Scan. The power
switch is lit and I've double checked the connections, but I can't
get it to boot up. My mainboard is an Asrock K7S41GX. Anyone know
what the problem might be? Thanks.

Check you have the CPU +12V 4 Way connector plugged in somewhere near the
CPU.

Its a square connector & will have 4 wires (2 yellow / 2 black).
