The fan on my generic power supply was noisy so I've replaced it with a
FSP Blue Storm 2 that was on special offer at Scan. The power switch is
lit and I've double checked the connections, but I can't get it to boot
up. My mainboard is an Asrock K7S41GX. Anyone know what the problem might
be? Thanks.

Do you have all the required power cables plugged in? Two in the mobo,
possibly one in the graphics card?

I think the OP's MB has just a single 20-pin power connector.
