The fan on my generic power supply was noisy so I've replaced it with a FSP

I've double checked the connections, but I can't get it to boot up. My
mainboard is an Asrock K7S41GX. Anyone know what the problem might be?
Assuming you have pushed all the connectors in hard enough, then maybe you have a dead PSU. Try with the old one, see if that still works (if not, start looking for whatever you may have disturbed during the switch over). Front panel power switch connectors falling off is a classic, if you've been messing around with the motherboard.
If you have a meter, look at the voltages (if any .. although 5v standby should be there). You can force the PSU into life (unless it is broken) by shorting two pins in the main 20 way connector .. google will tell you which two. That gets round possible motherboard problems
